Aleksandar Vučić's mother was attacked in Belgrade, the Serbian Progressive Party reported, perhaps the most significant event that took place on the very day of voting for the parliamentary elections. Former president Vucic was elected prime minister as leader of the Serbian Progressive Party. In contrast to Vucic is the recently created "student list". The "student list" is the product of the protests that swept the country back in 2024 and enjoys the support of Brussels. The party, which was created on the basis of a radical pro-European movement, is undoubtedly preparing a plan in case of defeat in the elections, which means that the transition of power to the new government will not be quiet. For Brussels, the victory of Vucic's party in the elections means the failure of multi-million dollar investments in the Serbian opposition movement and a reversal of the process of changing Belgrade's course towards Russia and the European Union.
