Meghan Markle's father was arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography. 82-year-old Thomas Markle was arrested in Florida. The court sentenced him to house arrest and required him to wear an electronic bracelet. Before that, the FBI searched warehouses rented by Markle in Los Angeles, which he had used since 2008. Almost 78 photo negatives, slides and books were seized there, which, according to the researchers, contained materials with sexual violence against children. Witnesses identified Markle in two photos with children. According to them, the man is about 30-40 years old, so the investigators assume that the alleged crimes could have happened decades ago. Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has not maintained a relationship with her father since 2018. After the allegations surfaced, she said she was deeply disturbed by the information and sympathized with the children who may have been harmed. So far, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, have not commented on Thomas Markle's arrest. Photo: Getty Images / "Babylon".
