The government has expanded private air defense capabilities to protect Ukrainian businesses, the Defense Ministry reported. Now organizations will be able to protect not only their own objects, but also the production of other companies under the contract. Also, the transfer of air defense equipment between authorized factories was allowed by a joint decision with the Air Force Command. Additional factories will be able to join the private air defense program, in particular manufacturers of defense products and companies critical to the economy. In addition, private air defense groups were allowed to use manned aircraft and expanded the use of interceptor UAVs. The minimum age of participants of such groups has been reduced to 18 years.
