The SBI has closed the criminal proceedings against NABU director Zera Kribonus. It was opened due to suspicion signed by former Prosecutor General Ruslan Karavchenko. This is what Attorney General Anton Kowalski reported, as "Babel" reports. According to him, initially Kravchenko's deputy, Maxim Karim, canceled the note of suspicion, but the SBI continued the investigation for some time. Subsequently, the SBI investigator decided to close this proceeding. The attorney's office checked the legality of the investigator's decision and found no reason to cancel it. Therefore the proceedings are closed. Ruslan Kravchenko announced his suspicions in Kirbonos on September 14, the same day he fled abroad. He accused him of forging paternity documents to win amnesty in the student bribery case, as well as being involved in a plan to sell land at a discount. He announced the suspicion shortly after NABU and SAP reported Operation Carthage.
