The US has spent more than 47 billion dollars on the war in Iran, which is 25% more than the estimate given by the Pentagon in July, writes Reuters referring to data from the US Department of Defense. In July, the Pentagon's estimate included operational costs for the war, with a projected sum of more than $29 billion to replace munitions spent. More than 6 billion dollars were invested in replacing military equipment and platforms, in particular for the loss of aircraft and UAVs during the war in Iran. At the same time, this estimate does not include the cost of restoring American bases damaged by Iranian missiles and drones.
