Konotop in Sumy province, which has been without power for the fifth day, will be supplied with fuel for generators, said Prime Minister Seri Koretsky. Due to the situation in the city, the boiler house and water supply work on generators. The city was left without electricity due to Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure facility. The mayor of Konotop, Artem Semnikin, told the TV channel "Apostrophia" that the energy facilities were completely destroyed and cannot be restored. According to him, the only thing that can be done is to connect the hospital or the water supply at night, while the rest of the city is without electricity. Samnykhin said that the city's undefeated points operate every day, but there is nothing to fuel them, just like the boiler houses. According to him, the city now needs at least 40 tons of diesel fuel for its daily activities. The businesses in the city are open, and phones can be charged there. Kindergartens in Konotop are also working, and school students are on vacation.
