Azerbaijan will extend tax breaks to the real sector In Azerbaijan, in 2027, it is planned to extend the validity of tax benefits and exemptions aimed at supporting the real sector of the economy. This is reflected in the 2027 budget package. According to the document, the development of the non-oil sector also provides for the introduction of new benefits focused on specific results. One of the main priorities of the tax policy will be the creation of a more comfortable and predictable business environment. Alongside the expansion of the existing tax breaks and exemptions that support the development of the real sector, it is planned to identify new measures to stimulate the non-petroleum industry. In addition, one of the key areas for ensuring the sustainability of tax revenues will be the expansion of the tax base and a more precise definition of taxable objects. As part of this work, it is planned to strengthen the control over compliance with the discipline of accounting, reporting and payments. Thus, the tax policy for 2027 combines incentive measures for businesses with increasing the efficiency of budget revenue management.
