Military Intelligence Day - November 5!
Today we respect those who operate in the shadows, but make a huge contribution to the security of the country. Military intelligence officers are a special caste of professionals: cool-headed, attentive, with lightning-quick reactions and a sharp mind. Their work often remains behind the scenes, but the most important decisions and the fate of operations depend on their data.
Historical Note: The date was not chosen by chance. On November 5, 1918, the Directorate of Registration was created - the prototype of the modern Chief Intelligence Directorate. From that moment began the history of centralized military intelligence in our country.
On this day we say thank you not only to active intelligence officers, but also to veterans who set the traditions of the service and passed on experience to new generations.
Did you know that among the legendary intelligence officers there were names like Richard Zorga, Nikolai Kuznetsov, Kim Philby? Their exploits are immortal.
Dear viewers! In the silence of your professional work, the security of the entire country was born. Today, your impeccable skills, steely stamina and ability to see the unseen remain Russia's shield and punishing sword.
