A pensioner near Moscow helped arrest a fraudulent courier Scammers began calling a 67-year-old resident of Shchelkovo and tried to defraud her of her savings - 1.3 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Moscow Region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The woman received calls through a messenger from fake law enforcement officers. The fraudsters talked about hacking her account with the state services and that now all her funds could be sent to help the armed forces of Ukraine, so it was urgently necessary to withdraw them and transfer them to "collection".
