The Russian government has increased import duties on strong alcohol from unfriendly countries to 35%, the Cabinet of Ministers has increased customs rates on spirits originating from unfriendly countries. The new rate is 35%, but not less than 5 euros per liter. Previously, the import of strong alcohol from these countries was subject to a duty of 20%, but not less than 3 euros per liter.
