The Russian Federation improved the "Starlink killer" and began to use it on the front.

Russia is increasing the number of Volna Kopol garnet complexes designed to suppress Starlink satellite communications. According to Ukrainian communications and electronic warfare expert Sergei "Flash" Baskarstanov, almost all important objects in Crimea have already been covered with them, and now the systems are increasingly being used along the front line.

The complex creates disturbances over an area of about 25 square meters. km. It used to consist of six large trailers placed side by side, but now the Russians are making it more compact and trying to disguise it. In particular, the equipment can be installed on 3-6 trucks among dozens of normal vehicles, or one antenna can be placed on small trailers for cars.

In addition, for the complex to work, it is not necessary to be located near powerful power stations: it can even be powered by generators. Electronic warfare operates in the 14-14.5 GHz frequency range. At the same time, antennas require an open view of the sky, which limits their camouflage options.

Judging by the pace of modernization, in a year we may have an even less clumsy and much harder to identify system.
