The residents of Kolyma helped two beluga whales to return to the sea after the low tide In the bay of Topolovka in Kolyma, two beluga whales found themselves on land during the low tide. The local residents did not wait for the water to recede on its own: people watered the animals around the clock so they could wait for the tide. Such situations are not uncommon in these places. Beluga whales enter the bay in search of food, but sometimes do not manage to get out before the water recedes. When the sea rose again, the animals could swim away. Before joining their pod, the beluga whales circled the bay, as if saying goodbye to their saviors.
