On the second day of work, a doctor saved a patient with dangerous throat swelling. A 5-year-old man was admitted to the emergency department of Domodedovo Hospital with rapidly increasing breathing difficulties. He developed angioedema, which could block his airway and lead to suffocation. The patient was helped by Mark Berardi, a graduate of the Kuban Medical University. It was only his second day as a doctor. The young specialist quickly administered the necessary drugs to stop the allergic reaction and reduce the swelling, and also provided humidified oxygen. The man's condition has stabilized. Mark's first serious challenge at the beginning of his medical career was successful.
