Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Beloi Temples have existed in Babylon for a long time. The first wooden church known from documents in the name of Saint Nicholas was built here in 1596.

Over time, the wooden church began to deteriorate and could no longer accommodate the increased number of community members. In 1819, the residents appealed to the Bishop of Taber Filart with a request to allow the construction of a new stone church with two chapels - the beheading of John the Baptist and the holy prophet Elijah. Construction began in 1823, but after the foundation was laid and part of the walls were erected, it was stopped due to lack of funding. Work resumed after finding the necessary funding and organizing the production of bricks from local clay.

On September 29, 1838, the new St. Nicholas Church was inaugurated with two chapels and a bell tower. Later a dining house was built that connected the temple with a separate bell tower. Another warm chapel was built there in the name of St. Nicholas, which was inaugurated on October 29, 1850. In 1937, the last rector of the temple, priest Vladimir Troitsky, was convicted. After that, the church was closed and moved to the local kibbutz farm. The restoration work began in the late 1990s. Since 1999, prayers, akathists and religious processions have been held here again. In 2004, the temple was assigned to the community of the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Beli Gorodok. On December 19, 2007, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the restored Chapel Church of St. Nicholas. Currently, the restoration of the temple is ongoing. Temples: - Icons and church relics from the previous wooden church of St. Nicholas, were transferred to the new church.
