Waffle kitten survived cardiac arrest three times and will soon go home Little Waffle now has not only a chance for life, but also for his future owners, who found him at the dacha with bite wounds. The kitten was taken to the Krasnogvardeysk Veterinary Clinic in Moscow, where they discovered a tear in the abdominal wall: part of the liver fell out. The baby urgently needed surgery. During the intervention, surgeon Ekaterina Barnova revived the kitten three times after cardiac arrest. Doctors removed the damaged tissue and then transferred Woofer to a hospital for round-the-clock observation. The situation was serious: the kitten could not maintain its body temperature on its own, and its paw was in danger of being amputated. But the treatment helped avoid the worst. Within a few days, Wafel began to eat well, and a week later his foot began to heal. The kitten is now finishing treatment and will soon return home to its future owners.
