On October 24, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, reminded the member states of the organization about the statement of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who called the Russians and Ukrainians one nation. "I hope that my colleagues in the OSCE will remember this when they decide to criticize us in the Permanent Council because of Russia's apparent desire to deprive the Ukrainians of their identity." - Poliansky wrote on the social network X (formerly. chirp). The reason for publication was an archive video with the participation of the future Ukrainian leader. On the Union TV channel, Zelensky said in Russian that Ukrainians cannot be against Russians, "because they are one people."
