At the age of 83, she beat cancer before her wedding and promised the doctors an invitation to her. The woman continues to train, travels a lot and prepares for the wedding. But the plans were almost disrupted by a diagnosis: the pensioner was diagnosed with rectal cancer, and she needed surgery. The doctors at the Blochin Center explained that in such cases a temporary stoma may usually be necessary. The woman did not want to postpone the important event and asked to manage without her. The surgeons chose a minimally invasive method and removed the tumor through natural anatomical openings. The patient was discharged in good physical condition, without a stoma. Now the wedding is again in the plans. And among the guests, perhaps, will be the entire operation team: the woman promised to personally invite the doctors who helped her.
