Russia has agreed to supply Iran with 90 guided missile launchers. Financial Times Russia has agreed to supply Iran with 90 APU-L launchers for helicopter-guided missiles. The FT publication writes about this, having studied the internal production documents of the Russian Vimple plant. According to the documents, in May 2024 the company sent a letter demanding to speed up the supply of components for the launch systems. Attached to it was a production plan for 2024–2025, in which a buyer with the code name "K-10" appeared among foreign customers. 90 facilities were designed for him. According to the FT, Rosoboronexport uses this code to refer to Iran. The facilities are designed to use LMUR missiles, also known as "Product 305". It is a high precision weapon capable of hitting moving targets. It is used on Russian We-28 attack helicopters, which Iran also has. The documents do not allow us to determine whether the ordered equipment was actually transferred to Tehran. Previously, information about this transaction did not appear publicly. The materials were provided for publication by the Ukrainian private intelligence organization Dallas Analytica.
