A refinery that produces jet fuel for the needs of the Russian armed forces is on fire in Novokuybyshevsk, Samara region. Earlier, a danger of drones was declared in the area and the airport was closed. OSINT ASTRA ANALYSIS On the morning of November 30, the residents of Novosibirsk reported explosions and air defense operations. The unmanned threat in the area was officially declared at around 6am, by which time the attack was already underway. Based on photos sent by readers, an ASTRA OSINT analyst determined that the fire occurred on the territory of the Novosibirsk refinery. JSC Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery has been part of the PJSC NK Rosneft group since 2007. Its production capacity is about 8.8 million tons of oil per year. The refinery produces more than 20-30 types of petroleum products, including Euro-5 motor gasoline and diesel fuel, jet fuel (for the Russian Aerospace Forces), bitumen and petroleum coke. In the past, the factory was repeatedly attacked, as was the city itself. On September 1, a damaged house was reported in Novokuybyshevsk. On August 22, the oil refinery was attacked.
