In St. Petersburg, a former State Duma candidate from Blocko was fined 30,000 rubles for "defaming" the army because of the word "peace" in the election campaign, Mediazona and St. Petersburg publications reported with reference to the decision of the Moscow District Court in St. Petersburg. We are talking about the administrative protocol under Art. 20.3.3 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for "Defamation" of the Russian Army. A protocol on the "defamation" of the army was drawn up against Dmitri Khorezov, a participant in the elections to the State Duma from Blocko. As Mediazona reports, the security forces considered Khorezov's personal campaign "discredited": "My name is Dmitri Khorezov. I am the only candidate for peace in District 218. Come and vote on September 20, 2026." As stated in the publication, at the end of the protocol it is stated that the administrative violation was committed by or. J. Kisleba. Mediazona suggests that the security forces copied a paragraph of text from another protocol - on the website of the Moscow District Court in St. Petersburg there is a decision to fine Kislava according to the same administrative article. "Paper" in reference to "Yavloko" reported that a denunciation was written against Khorzov by an acquaintance of Vitaly Milonov, who ran for the State Duma in the same district, and is participating in the war with Ukraine, Andrei Kazanin. He believed that Khorzov's slogan discredits the army and insults his opponents in the elections. Dmitry Khorzov ran for the State Duma from a block in the 218th district in St. Petersburg. According to the party's exit polls, he was in the lead with 29% of the vote, including ahead of Vitaly Milonov, who was predicted to get 25.6%. However, according to the official results, the candidate from United Russia won the result with 55.21%, and Khorezov took fourth place with 6.4%. Khorzov claimed to steal votes. His voters tried to declare the election results invalid through the courts, but were refused.
