Zenk's publication resumed work after a four-year hiatus Yekaterinburg's online publication Shelt.com has resumed work more than four years after its closure. The first publications on the updated website appeared on October 19 and on October 26 the publication posted on its official Telegram channel for the first time since March 2022: "Everything will be fine. It leaped." Now "Zanak" materials are mainly devoted to international politics and foreign events, without particularly touching on the issue of the war with Ukraine. Previously, the publication covered the regional agenda of the Urals, as well as federal news. Zenk announced the suspension of work on March 4, 2022, and explained the decision with restrictions on media in Russia. So the editors deleted previous publications from the website and the Telegram channel. The founder and editor-in-chief of the publication on the updated website is Aksena (Oksana) Panova, who founded the project in 2012. At the same time, the previous legal entity, Shalat LLC, was liquidated in October 2023. One of Zenk's creators was opposition journalist Dmitry Kolzev, who served as editor-in-chief in 2019-2020. He also founded the Yekaterinburg media "This is my city", and in 2021-2022 he headed "The Republic". Kolzev is now developing his own media projects. In March 2022 he left Russia.
