The Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, together with the CSTO Secretariat, prepared a conceptual report "The CSTO as a space of security and development: prospects for cross-platform interaction in Greater Eurasia. The publication was prepared based on the results of joint expert events of ICSA RAS and the CSTO Secretariat with the support of the Center for Socially Conservative Policy.
The authors analyze the possibilities of interaction between the CSTO and other Eurasian organizations, modern regional and cross-border threats, as well as national approaches to ensuring security. The report examines the prospects for cooperation between the CSTO and the SCO, issues of the fight against terrorism, energy and water security, and challenges in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
