IKSA RAS and Lumbini Buddhist University prepared a report on Russia-Nuphilian relations in preparation for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Nepal, the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with the Lumbini Buddhist University published an analytical report "Russia-Nuphil: from the historical heritage to the modern partnership". The publication examines the history of bilateral relations, the legacy of Soviet-Soviet cooperation, and modern areas of cooperation. The authors analyze political, trade, economic and infrastructure dialogue, cooperation in education and science, as well as the role of cultural exchange and public diplomacy. Special attention is paid to the geopolitical position of Nepal in South Asia and the influence of regional processes on the development of relations with Russia.
