A fire broke out at a hotel in the Nepalese village of Dingboche, on one of the main roads leading to Mount Everest's base camp, amid speculation that an explosion of a cooking gas cylinder was behind the accident, according to police. Local media reported that all hotel guests and employees were evacuated safely, with no reports of injuries as a result of the fire. The village of Dingbuche is located at an altitude of about 4,410 meters above sea level, and is considered one of the prominent acclimatization stations visited by travelers and climbers during their trip to the base camp of Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world.
