Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, said on Saturday that the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia represent a dangerous escalation whose consequences cannot be accepted or tolerated. In a speech during the Manama Dialogue Conference in Bahrain, Al-Budaiwi expressed his strong condemnation of the repeated Houthi attacks on the kingdom since last July, which have expanded to the cities of Mecca and Medina, considering that "these attacks represent a serious violation of the sanctity of Islam and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world."
