Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians and foreign activists while participating in the olive harvest season in the village of Kfar Malik in the West Bank, on Friday, October 30, injuring one of the activists, according to Reuters. Settler attacks on Palestinian farmers escalated at the same time as the olive harvest season, which lasts from the end of September to November, against the background of the restrictions faced by Palestinians in accessing their agricultural lands. According to the Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din, at least 135 physical attacks on Palestinian olive farmers were recorded as of October 23.
