The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed, met with the President of Iran, Masoud Pazhkian, ahead of the eighth summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in the capital of Russia, Moscow. The Qatari Emir Diwan said that during the meeting the developments in the regional situation were reviewed, especially developments in negotiations, the Strait of Hormuz and energy supply, in addition to the issues on the agenda of the summit.
