A series of powerful explosions occurred in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, as a result of which clouds of smoke rose in several areas of the city, at the same time as the sound of sirens. Russian news agencies quoted the Ministry of Defense as announcing the targeting of infrastructure facilities to the transport sector within the Ukrainian capital.
