The Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan said that the president of the council, Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, met today, Monday, in Khartoum, with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmi. In a statement, the Sovereignty Council quoted Fami as emphasizing "the League's commitment to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan, to support its national institutions and to protect the interests of Sudan in the context of the decisions made by the Arab Councils of Ministers, at the ministerial and summit level." The Secretary General of the Arab League added that he will continue his dialogues and meetings with officials and with the committee to prepare for the Sudanese dialogue, while noting that he is open to listening to their visions regarding the establishment of peace and the restoration of the situation in Sudan, according to the announcement.
