Floodwaters washed away much of the highway in Archuleta County, southwest Colorado, cutting off the road in several areas after days of heavy rain. The evacuation follows severe flooding that has swept through southwestern Colorado, forcing residents to evacuate, destroying roads, damaging bridges and leaving some residents stranded.
