The US military has prepared options for launching possible attacks on Iran after the mid-term elections scheduled for November 3, in a move that could lead to the renewal of the military conflict that has lasted for more than 8 months, against the background of faltering negotiations between Washington and Tehran regarding the end of the war. On Saturday, the American website "The Hill" reported from a source familiar with the plans, who requested anonymity, that the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for US forces in the Middle East, has prepared plans to carry out additional attacks against Iran, if they receive the approval of the White House. Another source familiar with the military planning said Centcom was preparing several options for launching attacks on Iran to present to US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, indicating that President Donald Trump will keep all options open until a final decision is made.
