Let us recall that Kerkin II was elected the 132nd Catholicos of All Armenians on October 27, 1999, and his ordination took place on November 4 of the same year. The Holy Relics of Scabra contains the relics of more than 18 saints, including the apostles Peter, Paul, Thaddeus and Bartholomew, as well as Saint Gregory the Illuminator and Saint John Chrysostom.
