The counting of votes in the Brazilian presidential election has been suspended. Voting was extended by two hours due to statements by both candidates, by which time 0.25% of the ballot boxes had been processed, although electronic ballot boxes provide results immediately. In these interim results, Lola da Silva led with 57.66% (193,574 votes). His rival from the right-wing opposition, Flavio Bolsonaro, has so far received 42.34% (142,169 votes).
