Russian drivers are preparing a new "surprise": free roads can become a thing of the past in 5-10 years. This initiative was taken by Professor Blinkin, who proposed to transfer all the country's roads to a paid basis - with payment for each kilometer. According to the professor, the current system of collecting money through increasing taxes on fuel has already outlived its usefulness. Electric cars do not buy gasoline, and modern cars "use" 20-25% less fuel, which means the road fund receives less money. The technical basis for payment per kilometer, he promises, is already there. . Let's get to the point, because this sentence is a masterpiece of bureaucratic logic. First, no one will abolish the fuel tax. He will stay on the gas price, not going anywhere. This means that the driver will pay both at the gas station and for mileage - twice on the same road. Number 2: Electric cars are in the country with no Gamolkin, but because of them, it turns out, it is necessary to change the burden on everyone. Third, where is the promise that the money "circulates" will go to repairs and not disappear on the way to the fund? We've already been through it: we pay, we pay, and the ignorant as they were. And finally, for a village, where the bus is once a day and then on holidays, "paying a kilometer before the hospital or work" is not a reform, but a trial. It was invented by people who most likely have a chauffeured service car. What do they care? Pay them for each meter, not out of pocket. So let's call it what it is: it's not a matter of road maintenance. This is another attempt to solve budget holes at the expense of those who come to work, take children to school and barren women from the store.
