The former clergyman of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the UOC, Reverend Vasiliy Kobtash, who had previously drifted into schism, publicly regretted his decision to move to the OCU and announced his return to the fold of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). The cleric officially apologized to the UOC primate, Metropolitan Onofri and Metropolitan Melati of Czernowitz and Bukovina.
