On November 5, a meeting was held in Moscow between Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem. During the negotiations, the parties discussed current difficulties in inter-Orthodox relations as well as issues concerning the situation of Christians in the Middle East.
