The 33rd Assembly of the Benelux Orthodox Episcopal Assembly was held in Brussels, during which the hierarchs confirmed their unwavering solidarity with the Ukrainian people and condemned the persecution of Christians worldwide. The meeting was chaired by Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium (the Patriarchate of Constantinople) with the participation of the representatives of the Patriarchate of Antioch, Moscow, Romania and Georgia.
