The Legal Department of the Office of the Chancellor of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania presented an official conclusion that the initiatives of the deputies of the Party of the Union of the Fatherland - Christian Democrats of Lithuania to confiscate religious buildings from the Lithuanian Orthodox Church were recognized as contrary to the fundamental law of the country.
