The head of Ukraine's State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience (GESS), Viktor Yelensky, held a meeting with the delegation of the World Council of Churches (WCC), which came to Kyiv to discuss the OCU's request to join the ranks of this organization. The main purpose of the visit was to acquaint the representatives of the council with the existing religious situation in the country.
