Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria delivered an important address to the faithful, in which he explained the position of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (BOC) regarding the preservation of the Eucharistic communion with the Patriarchate of Constantinople and the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew. The first hierarch called the flock to be logical, emphasized the need to seek the unity of the church and warned against hasty conclusions and "zeal not according to logic".
