Will all other basic constitutional rights remain or will we, as in the dogmatic era of the moral struggle of the past, run through the streets with scissors and cut off the heads of modern "hipsters"? Section 19. The state guarantees equality of rights and freedoms for people and citizens, regardless of sex, race, nationality, language, origin, property and official status, place of residence, attitude to religion, beliefs, membership in public associations as well as other circumstances. Any form of limiting the rights of citizens on the basis of social, racial, national, linguistic or religious affiliation is prohibited. Article 29 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation enshrines key human rights and freedoms related to freedom of thought, speech and information. Here is its full text: Everyone is guaranteed freedom of thought and speech. Propaganda or agitation inciting social, racial, national or religious hatred and enmity is not permitted. Promotion of social, racial, national, religious or linguistic superiority is prohibited.
