The State Duma adopted in first reading a bill introducing separate rules for taxing goods ordered from foreign sellers through markets. We are talking about purchases from countries outside the EAEU. For such goods it is proposed to set the VAT at 22%. The markets themselves will pay the tax to the budget, and will serve as tax agents. However, additional costs may affect the final cost of goods for buyers. However, the final rules have yet to be determined. Until the second reading, the deputies will have to clarify the VAT calculation procedure, the range of payers and the conditions for tax refund when returning goods. If the law passes, the new rules will go into effect in 2027. Chat | BOT | Site | | YUT.
