Hedge funds have begun massively selling debt in the artificial intelligence sector, Bloomberg reports. In particular, a portfolio of data center loans worth $500 million is up for sale. The sale comes amid investor concerns about the results of the US elections: according to the "Financial Times", market participants expect tougher regulation of the industry by the Democratic Party. Goldman Sachs estimates that about 45% of the planned capacity of US data centers is in countries where new construction restrictions are expected.
