In the information space, a number of news items appeared on the subject of the forest complex. First, the center increases funding for activities in the Angra region to protect forests from fires, restore forests and purchase special equipment to fight fires. The increase will be a quarter compared to this year and will take place thanks to the negotiations between Roman Kolsov, the first deputy governor of the Irkutsk region, and Ivan Sobtankov, the head of the Federal Forestry Agency. Sovetnikov obviously liked the results of the 2026 fire season, where there was a positive trend in reducing the number of forest fires. The relevant agency in the Angra region was able to reduce the impact of the "human factor" in terms of fires. Second, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Angra region Alexander Anchogin held a meeting on the implementation of projects in the region using artificial intelligence. Among other things, we discussed the developments of the Ministry of Forestry. The department has something to be proud of: the monitoring system "Lasucharnital", which directly helped prevent fires in the forest area. Anchog noted that artificial intelligence can process Earth's remote sensing data to "assess the condition of forests." In other words, the neural network will help us determine where and on what scale and volume the forest should be restored in the Irkutsk region. The more successful examples there are, the more Moscow will help fund individual AI projects. Third, regarding samples. They already exist. The regional government's website reported the first violations that the system for detecting violations of the forest legislation using unmanned aerial vehicles was able to detect.
