Investments + industry = jobs, salaries, new schools, hospitals, yards and roads. And together this is the north, where you want to live. Therefore, we are creating conditions to make it easier for businesses to implement projects here in the Murmansk region. Today, at a joint meeting of the Industry Council and the Investment Committee, 6 updated algorithms were approved for investors: for obtaining land, building permits, operating a facility and registering property rights. The timing of the individual procedures and the number of documents have been reduced. Systematic work with investors is already yielding results: - Investments in the first half of the year exceeded 143 billion rubles, 14% higher than last year and 8th place in Russia.
- More than 300 inhabitants of the Arctic region and the "Capital of the Arctic" I live in, this is the first place in the Arctic region. The volume of industrial production increased again after a difficult start to the year, the volume of construction work over 8 months increased by 76% compared to the corresponding period last year;.
- The Murmansk region is in the top 10 regions in terms of wages and purchasing power. Further growth depends on the solutions we are currently working on: - Gas pipeline. In a recent meeting with the president, Gazprom confirmed the timing: the gas will arrive in the region in 2030. Together with the FAS, we are working on approaches to rates in order to determine the rate at which investment projects will be profitable. Our position: the cost of gas for the region should not be higher than the average in the northwest. - ETOR. I am the United Chairman of the Far East and the Arctic will start operating in 2027. We achieve fair conditions for small and medium businesses.
- Mineral production tax. Apatite, nickel and iron ore are mined on our land, so the revenue from mining should stay in the area. We count on the support of this initiative from industrial companies.
- A comprehensive project for the development of the Arctic region and the third transport ring. We are preparing it together with the relevant ministry and within the framework of the State Council committee. We discussed separately the organizational demographic standard and the creation of a family-centered environment.
