Bailiffs handed over to Russia's Gos Gokhran over a thousand gold bars and coins seized at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office from relatives of former Krasnodar Regional Court Chairman Alexander Chernov and other individuals. The head of Russia's FSSP, Dmitry Aristov, told TASS about this. In April, the Oktyabrsky District Court in Krasnodar granted the inspection department's claim and converted the property of the former chairman's family and associated individuals worth nearly 900 million rubles into state revenue. The list includes 9.1 thousand square meters of land, 22 million rubles, and 36 kg of gold. In August 2025, the city court of Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region, based on a similar claim, converted 87 real estate properties worth 13 billion rubles into state revenue. Chernov had headed the regional court since 1994, retired in 2019, and in November of last year, a high qualifications court stripped him of his status as a retired judge. He currently lives in Cyprus.
