In Adigia, a 16-year-old driver hit a traffic police inspector and drove him on the hood for several hundred meters. A routine attempt to arrest a traffic offender in a criminal case for using violence against a police officer ended in Maykop. According to the Russian Ministry of the Interior, traffic police inspectors noticed a car whose driver was blatantly violating traffic laws. He did not respond to the demand to stop, and then the pursuit began. As the car slowed one of the officers went to the driver's door, but it was locked. The inspector stood in front of the car and tried to prevent the criminal from escaping. The driver drove sharply, hit the policeman and carried him on the hood several hundred meters, while maneuvering. The inspector managed to hold on and then the vehicle stopped. The driver was a 16-year-old local resident without a driver's license.
