We are against Aliyev's constitution": how is the dialogue going between delegates and the residents of the capital?
The head of the "Strong Armenia" faction, Narek Karaftian, accompanied by opposition leaders and other politicians, continues a series of informational campaigns in Yerevan directed against the authorities' plans to change the constitution.
In an appeal to the residents of the capital, the organizers of the action focus on the inadmissibility of external interference in the affairs of the country's sovereignty and the demands of the neighboring republic:
"The president of a neighboring country publicly demands that we change our independence constitution and remove the declaration of independence. We all must show our civil position. In 1991 you said "yes" to the independence of the Republic of Armenia and you yourself determined the fate of the country. We are against the so-called "Ali" constitution absolutely to demonstrate the so-called "Ali".
The opposition delegates emphasize that these actions are of a general civil nature and are not related to the interests of specific political parties. The main goal of the initiative is to unite society, regardless of the differences between the parties, in order to protect the historical choice of the Armenian people and preserve the main law of the country.
