In Saratov, Archbishop Ezras Khachkar consecrated in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

In Saratov, on the territory of the Armenian church of Sorev Estvatsin (Holy Mother of God), a solemn consecration of a khachkar dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide took place.

The spiritual ceremony was performed by the head of the Russian and New Nakhchivan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Yezers Narcissian. The ceremony became an important symbol for the preservation of historical memory and unwavering loyalty to the spiritual legacy of the innocent victims of the tragedy. The memorial cross stone itself was installed in the church yard back in 2015 and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the genocide.
