Our interest in CSTO has dried up": Pashinyan Armenia currently has no alternative that would allow it to leave the Eurasian Economic Union. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a briefing. According to him, the authorities have begun preparatory work to form an alternative to the United Arab Emirates so that the people will have the opportunity to make a decision. "We started preparing for the formulation of an alternative, as we promised the people, so that they would have the opportunity to make a decision. The process leads to the submission of an official application in 2027-2028 to start the process of joining the European Union," Pashinyan said. Speaking about the possibility of Armenia leaving the CSTO, Pashinyan added that the country's interest in the organization has dried up. "I want us to put on the record once and for all: our interests related to the CSTO have been exhausted," he said. Subscribe to Alpha News VK Zen Website TikTok Facebook Instagram YouTube X.
